Pick up in the morning to NANTHIDAR jetty. Always, it’s a busy place selling things such as fruit, snack, betel nut, candy, cigar, etc. Get onto a public ferry commuting YANGON-DHALA-YANGON. DHALA is situated on the other side of Yangon and separated by the river. There you shall discover life-style completely different from YANGON in about 15minutes.
The most attractive you could see and enjoy is tri-shaw (a modified bicycle with 3wheels). There are so many! And yes, that shall be your chariot to explore. First, the driver takes you to the central market. It sells veggie and fruit, meat and fish, cooking stuff, varieties of rice and noodle, etc. You may also visit a monastery and understand monks’ life. Also, good to try out in town is a warm cup of Myanmar sweetie tea prepared from condensed milk. After the fresh-up, let’s head to streets and lanes where women and children smile at you and say “Hello” out loud. They are so friendly and invite you to drop in their bamboo houses. Help yourself, talk to them and understand their life. Back to Yangon by boat and transfer to hotel.
