Ngapali (the 1st Myanmar beach)

Ngapali is a corruption of “Napoli” that an Italian traveler gave after he fell in love with the beauty of the beach reminding his home.  It’s a 3km long exclusive beach resort lined with coconut trees overlooking the Indian Ocean.  Crystal clear water in white-sand, Ngapali is very safe to swim with no high tidal-wave.  The water is so gentle and shallow ending into the horizon.  There are things that you can do such as an excursion to a village seeing fisherman life, a boat ride to nearby island to snorkel and to fish etc.  It’s only 45-minute by air from bustling Yangon and a few-minute drive from Thandwe (Sandoway) airport.  There you see the beach and the breeze, the sun and the sea in addition to the sand and the sky.  They are all yours!
